Just Molly’s Little Ramblings

Everyone needs a Superhero!!! Don’t they?? And every superhero needs their sidekick.  Superman has Lois Lane while Batman has Robin.  I’m torn between Batman and Superman.  Which one is better?  Batman or Superman?  When I was younger it was always Batman for me with Adam West and Burt Ward.  Then I saw Michael Keaton playing Batman and ohh yea!!  Batman was THE best!  After reading about George Reeves’s death and Christopher Reeve’s accident, you can’t help but wonder if the role of Superman is cursed in some way.  However, lately I’ve been watching the show Smallville…………and now………..well I’m back to who’s better………..Batman or Superman???

Only 36 days left till Christmas which means there’s only 42 days left of 2008.  Remember the big hulabaloo when we entered in the year 2000?  The world was going to end, debit cards and credit cards would no longer work, and there’d be NO INTERNET!!! yikes!!  Imagine no more internet!  I wonder how many could survive without the internet these days, I know I couldn’t.  The kids would have to go outside and actually interact with other kids, maybe play some baseball, hide and seek, tag, ya know, some actual physical activties (shudders) as opposed to sitting on a computer playing interactive computer games with “my friend from (insert whatever foreign country/place to you) who I’ve never met and never will meet cause we’re a million miles away, but he’s my best friend mom, he’s (insert whatever age little johnny is) like me, except he’s probably some perverted old man/woman who’s………ok nevermind I’m just rambling again

Back to the original purpose of this post:  Christmas!! First you’ll need Music, which I haven’t heard a lot of yet on the radio and the stores, then you’ll need the Movies to help get you in the mood to Decorate.  Altho the stores around here had their Christmas stuff out even before Halloween was over, I hate that! Sheeeeesh it takes away from Halloween when they do that!  I can understand having Halloween stuff out before Thanksgiving is over cause they’re in the same month, and before you say “no they’re not”…….I’m Canadian and yes they are.  Thanksgiving in Canada is the second Monday of October here.  So I can understand them having  Halloween and Thanksgiving  linked together but there’s  a whole 55 days between Halloween and Christmas, there’s no need to have them overlap in the stores except for the greed!  Then you hear people complaining about how commericalized Christmas is etc etc but remember, it’s as commercialized as YOU let it be!!  It’s upto you to teach your kids that’s just because it’s on the television, doesn’t mean you have to have it or that  you even deserve it.

I know, how un-original!  But what else do you say to a bunch of strangers on the internet who’s reading your ramblings??  How’s it hanging?? What’s happening?? What colour underwear you wearing??  I doubt that’d go over too well either.  So I’ll just stick to …..Hi…….How ya doing?

So I’m basically still pretty new at a lot of this stuff and I’m just trying to figure out what’s what in the marketing area of it.  A little bit of it kinda confuses me but some have been made clear thanks to the awesome people on Squidoo.  Some that still confuses me tho is the SquiDirectory and Squidoo Directory, is it the same thing or are they different??  And I believe you’re suppose to put a link to them on your lens but where do you find the link to put on?  Is it a specific link or just a general one?  And which one(s) do you put a profile on cause The Isle of Squid I can’t seem to find the place for it or to even see which lens I’ve already submitted to it same goes for Squiddit too. And why are these tedious little things important you ask?? Well cause when I do a job, I like to it right for one thing and secondly, I don’t want to piss anyone off cause some times I’m not the brightest bulb in the pack. So I’ll just keep plugging away and trying to figure it out thanks to people like fefe who has awesome lens like this and triathlontraining for his wonderful lens on Squidoo Tools, Resources and Guides.
As far as making a lens goes, I think I’ve got that one down pretty good, I can even do the html thanks to Randall, N376 basic html and advance
, it’s just deciding what to write about each day. Some times those brain farts interfer a little too much.

Another thing that confuses me is, what do people put on blogs?  How do you start it and how do you end it? I mean, I tend to ramble a little too much and go off on different topics all the time and talk about inconsequential things like “why does my A key keep popping off for no reason at all” (it’s beginning to irritate me at the moment). But when I first heard about blogs I had assumed they were like “online diaries”. A place where women went to ramble about their day, maybe because at the time that’s all I had been hearing about, not sure. Then a few guys were talking about their blogs and I couldn’t figure out why they’d be whining on the internet, aren’t they suppose to be watching porn?? Oh well it’s gonna be one of those sleepless nights for me here in Niagara Falls I think, so I may be back on here later but now I’m going to sign off, and how do people sign off on a blog? Do you say “catch ya later”? Do you say “good night and sweet dreams”? Or do you just end it and say nothing at all?? That would seem kinda rude I think so I’ll end by saying……..thanks for sticking around to read my ramblings, if you wanna ramble back feel free.
